I've already had one trip to A+E because I had some bleeding, just light spotting over the course of a week, then there was some clots and it got me very very scared. I have had two previous miscarriages, so I am very paranoid about anything going wrong. I'm really hoping it was just break-through bleeding and nothing more serious (break-through bleeding is quite common, and its basically a small amount of bleeding when you would normally have your period because you still get some level of hormone fluctuations).
The doctors and nurses at A+E were very nice and kind, and didn't treat me like I was wasting their time, which I was glad about. They did some prodding around of my stomach, asked me lots of questions, and did another pregnancy test (which came back positive, which is a good sign) and made me an appointment for an early scan on Thursday. So wish me luck!
I've not started getting morning sickness yet, but I'm not really expecting that for another couple of weeks, in an odd way, I'm looking forward to it, even though being sick every hour isn't fun, its a sign your body is doing what its supposed to and that everything is OK (have I mentioned how paranoid I am?).
I could be imagining it, but I think my breasts are already getting bigger! (which my partner is happy about) last time that I was pregnant I grew a cup size in the first trimester! so gods knows how big my breasts will be by nine months! Taking over the world!
Anyway, I will write again when I know how everything went on Thursday.
