poetry I'm inflicting on you

here's a poem I wrote about the miscarriage. Before anyone panics, I am fine, it was just something that was floating around in my head that I finally managed to get on paper. and I'm sorry for inflicting poetry on everyone!

We never had a chance you and I,
Never had the time
Never had the luck to meet
the baby I will never know.

I thought you were safe tucked up
In blood and warmth
Sleeping sound
My baby that I will never know.

I had such dreams for you,
Such hopes and plans
Such love for you
Baby  I will never know.

Somewhere across the void,
Wait for me,
Wait for your mum.

My darling baby that I long to know.
