Things that I really miss.

week 17, day 1.

There are a lot of things that I really thought I'd miss in pregnancy, like smoking (Coyote hates me for the fact that I quit without any withdrawal or craving) and drinking (OK, occasionally I do feel like a glass of wine, but all in all, it's all good). But the things that I am really really missing are:

  • Proper cups of tea, decaff just doesn't taste as good (I know, I know, it is OK to drink some caffeine as long as you cut back, but I don't want to take the risk, and I'd just prefer to be safe than sorry).
  • and really really properly HOT baths, I like baths that turn you lobster red and make you sweat all over. Which you can't do, it's just not good for baby.
Damnit! the weather is really cold and I want to have a scalding hot bath and then snuggle in bed with a cup of tea *humph*
