In my every day life I'm not a fan of being normal, I like wearing rainbow colors and have tattoo's and piercings and dyed red hair, I paint weird surreal pictures and I don't like conformity. As an adult I love going to museums and keep Halloween decorations up all year round, my shoes are shiny silver doc martens and I don't particularly like chocolate (for me, craving chocolate during pregnancy is a big change)...I don't like normal, I don't want to be normal...
but today I had another midwifes appointment, and my blood pressure was normal, I did a urine test for glucose and protein (testing for pre-eclampsia and diabetes) and we listened to babies heart beat, and everything was normal...and I couldn't be happier.
